These awards follow our recent success at the AsiaStar Awards, where the same solutions were recognised, further reinforcing the global relevance and performance of these innovations.
Huhtamaki Flexibles qualified for the WorldStar Awards through its strong track record of award-winning solutions and has been recognised for both submissions in the Food and Packaging Materials & Components categories.
Omnilock™ MAX PE is designed to deliver strong barrier performance while supporting recyclability, offering a more sustainable alternative to conventional high-barrier implementations for PE flexible packaging solutions.
Omnilock™ Ultra PAPER is a fully recyclable, heat-sealable, ultra-high-barrier paper solution developed to replace non-recyclable multi-layer paper, plastic, and aluminum laminates. With FSC®-certified paper content, it delivers barrier performance comparable to aluminum/plastic combinations, ensuring no compromise on product shelf life. The solution also provides protection against mineral oil and water, combining sustainability with high technical performance.
With this recognition, Omnilock™ Ultra PAPER has now reached a total of seven awards globally, while Omnilock™ MAX has secured three global awards.
