Huhtamaki at PharmaPack 2025

A Showcase of Innovation in Healthcare Packaging

Huhtamaki Flexibles joined PharmaPack 2025, held on January 22-23 in Paris, to showcase our latest advancements in healthcare packaging. The event brought together professionals from across the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, offering a platform for valuable discussions, networking, and learning.

We were thrilled by the interest in our innovations, including the sachet, stickpack and blister solutions from our blueloop™ portfolio. The feedback we received was invaluable, helping us better understand the evolving needs of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors and refine our offerings accordingly.

Additionally, we were honored to receive the prestigious Eco-Design Award at the Pharmapack Awards 2025 for our innovative Omnilock™ Ultra PAPER solution. This fully recyclable, heat-sealable paper solution replaces non-recyclable multi-layer laminates while ensuring exceptional barrier performance. Crafted with FSC-certified fibers and backed by certifications from CEPI and OPRL, Omnilock™ Ultra PAPER sets a new benchmark for eco-friendly packaging, combining performance with sustainability.

Tobias Fackler, Senior Manager Sales Pharma & Industrials, commented, “PharmaPack 2025 was a very successful fair for Team Healthcare in Paris, with winning the Eco-Design Award for Omnilock™ Ultra PAPER generating great interest.”

He added, “Over two days, we made more than 100 customer contacts, mainly with key players in the pharma market. The biggest focus of customers was on sustainable solutions in the blister and sachet markets, for which our Omnilock™ solutions were the perfect fit.”

Michael Liebherr, Category Manager Healthcare & Tubes, also stated, “We are thrilled to have won the Eco-Design Award at PharmaPack 2025 for our innovative Omnilock™ Ultra PAPER, marking a significant advancement in sustainable packaging.”

We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who joined us at PharmaPack 2025. It was a rewarding experience filled with meaningful discussions and collaboration, and we look forward to continuing to advance the future of healthcare packaging.
