Huhtamaki announced a 12-year Virtual Power Purchase Agreement, a 42-megawatt agreement for renewable energy that will supply approximately 30 percent of its current electricity demands in the United States and Mexico.
This is part of a commitment to reduce electricity greenhouse gas emissions by 27.5 percent and greenhouse gas emissions from its product end-of-life by 13.5 percent by 2030. Read the full release.
