Our sustainability approach is comprehensive, covering the three ESG pillars of environment, social as well as governance and business ethics. For us, sustainability means considering our impact – both positive and negative – throughout our entire value chain and pro-actively working on becoming a leader in all three pillars by minimizing the negative impacts of our operations and products on the environment while maximizing the positive impacts on our stakeholders, consumers, and society.
Our sustainability ambitions
Our 2030 sustainability agenda is driven by the need to deliver on the topics that are most material to us. On the environmental side, we focus on materials, waste, electricity, water and solvents. On the social side, we recognize the need for a safe working culture and environment where we can ensure everyone goes home safe. These both aspects are represented in our Global Sustainability and Safety Index (GSSI). Read more about the GSSI here.
